The material passes through the feeding port of twin screw foam granulator, and under the action of rotating screw, it is rolled into a ball shape and moves forward along the screw groove. Due to the shearing, compression and stirring of the screw, the material is further mixed and plasticized, and the temperature and pressure gradually rise, showing a viscous flow state. After passing through the head with a certain pressure and temperature, the product with the desired shape can be obtained.
Precautions for main engine operation of twin screw foam granulator
1. The rated current of the host is the rated current of the motor, which should be controlled below 80% of the rated current during normal operation, leaving room to prevent overload (please refer to the motor nameplate for the rated current). The rated voltage and frequency of the host shall be controlled above 50% of the rated voltage and frequency during normal operation.
2. The head pressure sensor is equipped with a digital display meter. In normal operation, the number of the digital display meter should be below 10MPa. The operator should monitor the number of the digital display meter at all times. If it exceeds 15MPa, check whether the flow passage is blocked, stop feeding immediately, and gradually reduce the speed of the host screw. Adjust the number on the sensor digital display meter to be below 10MPa. If the number on the digital display meter is still high, stop the machine manually for inspection.
3. The operator shall regularly check the rear lubricating oil pressure gauge (value 0.1-0.2MPa). If it is lower than 0.05MPa, the operator shall immediately stop the machine to check the oil circuit, oil pump motor and oil pump, so as to protect the normal operation of the transmission box gear.
4. During normal operation, there shall be operation records.
